i was layin in bed listening to my ipod. at around 10:15 tonight, and i suddenly heard the garage door open.. i looked outside, and dad wasn't pulling out the Jeep, so what the heck is goin on?.. i heard the garage door close and my dad walked out the door. in his hand were this GORGEOUS boquet of flowers.. he had gone to Safeway earlier to pick up some things for dinner, and he weirdly didn't ask me to go with him.. and i guess when he bought the flowers he left them in th car.. and right before he went over to Jackie's, he grabbed them and left to go see her..
and for some reason, seeing that made me smile the most sincere smile in my whole life.. because, how many guys out there honestly just randomly think of buying her flowers just because you felt like it..
i never see that anymore, and.. things like that
just make me want to cry, it's so sweet..
my dad has been through so much and now it's HIS turn to be happy..
he deserves this. daddy, you deserve this.
i'm so glad that i have such an amazing guy as my dad(:
